DROGHEDA SCHOOLS' CAREERS EXPLORATION EVENING
Parents and Students of Third Year and Transition Year from all of Drogheda’s schools are cordially invited to attend a Careers Exploration Evening in St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Newfoundwell, Drogheda from 7pm to 8.30pm on Thursday evening, 26 January. The Evening will be officially opened by businessman and Senator Feargal Quinn of Local Heroes fame.
Representatives from over 50 Career Areas including: Engineering, Garda, Nursing, Multimedia, Computing, Accountancy, Hairdressing, Sports, Primary Teaching, Journalism, Architecture, Business, Beauty, Law, Medical Careers, Agri-food business, Higher and Further Education and many more will be there. They will answer any questions students may have on the career areas of their choice and on which subjects or courses might be helpful or appropriate for those particular careers.
The event is being organised by Drogheda’s School Guidance Counsellors and is open to all 3rd Year and Transition Year students from the town. Students should wear their school uniform to the event.
